How can ketamine and psilocybin assisted therapies help neurodistinct couples achieve enhanced safety and communication in their relationships?

Join the latest episode of the Psychedelic Mom podcast as Michaela welcomes back Dr. Jill Corvelli, a therapist with a specialization in working with ‘complex’ couples, to dive deeper into her approach to helping couples achieve smoother relationship dynamics.

The discussion covers Dr. Jill’s unique ND Compass approach, the role of psychedelics in relational healing, and the significant benefits of autonomic reset for couples dealing with the impacts of trauma.

Michaela and Dr. Jill also explore various tools and techniques for the preparation and integration phases of psychedelic couples work, the potential benefits of microdosing, and the importance of creating safe and non-judgemental spaces for therapeutic growth. The conversation also touches on the challenges of distinguishing between neurodiversity and narcissism, and Michaela’s dream of incorporating plant medicines into everyday family life.

Dr. Jill Corvelli is founder of the ND Partners Institute, which is dedicated to supporting complex couples, many of which are neurodiverse. She developed the ND Compass, which is an approach that helps complex couples navigate the differences that keep triggering and tripping them up.

Within the last year, Dr Corvelli added work in non-ordinary states of consciousness as a tool in support of Differentiation and Autonomic Reset. The ND Partners Institute also offers groups, there is an upcoming group starting in May 2024 for women in Complex-Couple Relationships and a Complex-Couples group in September 2024. In addition to serving clients within the ND Partners Institute, she provides adjunct services for clients already engaged in therapeutic work. She is also a certified facilitator in Oregon, and you can find her offerings within that work at 2 CATHARSIS.
