Episode 16
Did you know that psilocybin mushrooms can be fed 5-MeO-DMT during cultivation to create an entirely new psychedelic medicine called psilomethoxin? Meet today’s guest, Ben Moore, military veteran and founder of the Church of Psilomethoxin, and listen in as he explains about the profound healing psilomethoxin has brought him and other veterans with whom he has created a psychedelic healing community.
Ben Moore and your host, Michaela Carlin, explore essential topics of our time, such as how the patterns that shape our lives can be recognized and transformed with the assistance of psychedelics and how a lack of self-responsibility and the courage to change is at the root of many of society's systemic problems.
Ben, an Army Veteran with almost 10 years of service, is a specialized military mountaineer and cold weather expert, who spent 24 months training in mountain and cold-weather survival in the arctic. He realized a higher calling for his life and transitioned onto the path of spirituality and religious freedom. In 2020, Benjamin took 8 veterans to Mexico to reconnect with themselves, and Source, through plant medicine work and ancestral exploration. Benjamin has since been creating safe containers and helping guide Veterans through deeper psychedelic experiences.
As a Co-Founder of the Church of Psilomethoxin, and partnering with other initiatives, he continues working with Veterans and First Responders, using Sacred Plant Medicines, to help them better understand their purpose and optimize their human experience.
Benjamin is an avid free diver, and is a community leader guiding others to personal growth in nature centered outings. His connection to nature and self has led him on this path of awareness and healing that he believes will improve the quality of life for all humanity. Benjamin has been creating safe containers and helping guide Veterans through deeper psychedelic experiences.
